The glass on this ivy and pot is opaque so that it can be hung either on the wall or in a window. 
 
The sheet glass that I use is extremely good traditional stained glass. When it is cooled and rolled out it creates line, ridges, bubbles, popped bubbles and dents. This is very natural for the type of glass that is used.
